The CAVSG was founded in 1992 after many years of campaign work by
members regarding the dangers of asbestos at work and in the home.
The group is run entirely by volunteers, most of whom are victims themselves.
The policies
of the group are determined by constitution and are overseen by the Management
Committee. The financing of the project is achieved by small grants
from various organisations such as Halton Borough Council and generous donations
from victims and other supporters of our group. In April 1997 a home visiting service
was started, thanks to funding from the National Lottery.

This six-berth (two-bedroom) caravan provides the chance for victims to have a holiday at a five star Caravan and Leisure park.
