House of Lords Protest-Barker-v- Saint Gobain Pipelines Plc -13 th March 2006

A protest was held, outside the House of Lords on the 13 th March 2006 , by victims families, asbestos support groups, trade unions and other supporters to show their opposition to yet another attack with the intention of robbing asbestos disease sufferers, in particular those suffering with Mesothelioma, of compensation. The case that will try to deny those that have worked for more than one employer or had periods of self employment will be heard by the Lords between 13 th-15 th March 2006 . Those that have been robbed of their health and their lives through mesothelioma will now have to wait for the outcome of the Lords to see if they are now to be robbed of their compensation of if they will receive the Justice they are rightfully entitled.
